Wig - Ebay | Lipstick - M.A.C Ruby Woo | Necklace - Black lace ribbon with a drilled hole in a Kennedy coin added to a jewelry chain

This Cosplay was worn at Boston Comic Con as Felicia Hardy or more known was Black Cat. I Spent about one week on this.
Cat Suit - The leather suit was from Leg Avenue that I altared/sewed  to fit skin tight on myself since it is hard to find anything to fit me because of my height. I found long stripes of white fur from Joanne's Fabric, sewing them on onto the arms, legs, and collar of the cat suit. The collar was the tricky part since I needed it to loop around to keep its shape, so I added a thin wiring to help hold the form throughout the day. I then sewed a zipper in the front to fit the look of the character
Mask - Black cotton fabric that I formed on a foam mannequin head. Using plastic wrap to cover the canvas of the mannequins face, adding layered strips of watered down glued paper until it became dry. Layered the neatly cut black cotton onto the harden thin mask and cleaned up the edges with an x-acto knife.
Gloves - I sewed some gloves together, hot glueing the nails onto the gloves after I painted it a metallic silver. Since Black cat has retractable claws hidden in her gloves

Princess Zelda: The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess

I go to Anime Boston ever year,  lately leaning more towards doing video game characters.  This cosplay was worn for Anime Boston & it took me about three months to complete the cosplay. Both Princess Zelda and Link's cosplay was made handmade, even styled and customized the Wig myself, including the hair accessories.
Grateful when my sister got me a new sewing machine, usually sewing everything by hand before, all of the fabrics were purchased from Joanne's Fabric. Trying to keep attention to detail is what I wanted to make sure to focus on.  I could use more work on clay shaping, since this was my first time working with molding clay. Most of the armor was made by craft foam, acrylic paint, elmers glue, and were bonded together with hot glue. You can get a lot of help from online with examples on working on your own cosplay.

Women Up

The Hundreds Hat - Persona | Jacket - H&M | Flannel - Forever 21 | HUF Socks - Persona | Herschel Supply Co. Backpack - Karma loop | Watch - Marc Jacob | Boots - Steve Madden

Loads of homework lately, and I need to catch up. I was in need of a back pack to fit my tomboy mood days. Lately, I have been really attached to this back pack ever since class has been back in session.  I really enjoy the simplicity of this Herschel Supply Co. bag from Karma loop. Layering my faux leather jacket over a flannel to give a less causal look. The Hundreds boom print hat & HUF socks are both from Persona. The Steve Madden combat boots are from Nordstrom, these boots are a bit versatile with a zipper on the side but the laces can still be loosen up for thicker socks or a more laid back look.

Strawberry Fields Forever

Shorts - DIY high waisted denim | Boots - Steve Madden | Bag - Urban Outfitters | Rings - Forever 21 |  Lace crop top - Forever 21 | Sunglasses - Le Specs | Hat - Brixton

I'm a huge fan of The Beatles, the John Lennon inspired glasses always seem to make a look a bit more retro. I usually like to thrift plenty, so when I came upon some old school mom jeans I had to cut them up into shorts, washing them a few times made a more worn in look. This fringe bag really caught my eye when a good friend of mine was getting rid of bunch of handbags. It can add a more causal yet fun 70's vibe. Topping off with lace floral  cut up top & of course my love for hats.

Beach Cruising

Swimwear - Karmaloop | Kimono - Shopubb | Boots - Steve Madden | Sunglasses - Le Specs | Longboard - Arbor | Hat - Brixton

I barely get a chance to go the beach but once a year isn't a bad idea. Anything high waisted is my go to outfit, especially with this high waisted bathing suit. Caged or cut out tops seem to give an extra edgy look to a simple swimwear. I'm not much of a swimmer, so I spend most of my time enjoying the scenery and cruising the paved part of the broad walk or parking area. I topped off my look with instead of a cover up; I wore a Kimono with foral prints from Shop ubb, they have a large selection of bohemian style looks. I also custom made my pin tail long board to best fit my riding style.

Yin & Yang

Crop Top - Forever21 | Skort - Zara | Fame Hat - Persona | Necklace - NastyGal | Sunglasses - LeSpecs | Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell Litas

Happy Birthday to my darling Stephanie Tep! Thank you for being apart of our adventurous friendship, and I wish for only more wonderful days filled of excitement to come. We can count on each other for comfort and advice without judgement, with an open mind.
This is the same outfit I wore on my recent blog post. Stephanie thought of concept where she would have photos taken with her friends showing a combination that meshes with each and everyone of us. The lovely photographer Nancy Ho took the photos for this Birthday project of Stephanie's'. I enjoyed being a part of this project.
